Jennifer Rose, who now makes her home in Mont St. Hilaire, was born in New York City and moved to California where she began her singing career.  She studied voice in Paris and worked with a French Composer honing her craft singing in French and English making her way from the shores of the south of France, to Spain to finally  becoming une chanteuse de jazz a Paris. She has performed all over California and performed for an Air France Benefit with a French orchestra and at the Grand Prix Event in Montreal.  She toured Japan last summer and became popular as the chanteuse hymnes nationaux pour les parties des Kings, Dodgers and Lakers.  Most recently, she recorded at Capitol Records Studios to be among the greatest jazz legends on the compilation CD Love Is Coming Back which features Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Rosemary Clooney, Mel Torme and Linda Ronstadt to name a few. Very soon she will be re-making songs from the Harry Warren catalog that were recorded by Doris Day and Jane Wyman in the 40's to re-introduce them with a contemporary jazz flavor. Jennifer has found Quebec to be the most spectacular place to perform.

While on a trip back to the West Coast, Jennifer performed with Big Brother and Holding Co (Janis Joplin's original band) this past November in the San Francisco Area.

Special moment - Sang the anthem at a Beverly Hills Celebrity Basketball Tournament and unbeknownst to me, Ella Fitzgerald was in the stands.  After I had sung I was introduced to her and it was a moment in my life I will always treasure. She looked me right in the eyes, smiled and said "it's all there for you so go get it. "
